According to the free online Merrian-Webster Dicionary to enchant means “to attract and hold the attention of (someone) by being interesting, pretty, etc.; to put a magic spell on (someone or something).” That is exactly how I feel about this dress!
There is so much to it to be attracted to, starting with the chambray bodice with delicate embroidery surrounded by lace. The chambray back in itself is such an interesting and flattering detail.
Follow that by the red skirt that flows down into a colorful stand-out design around the hem. So beautiful! The best part is I got it for less than $20 with an awesome discount code from White Plum!
It’s hard to believe today is the last day of July, and fall will be here before we know it, but the great thing about maxi dresses is that they transition so easily with the season by simply adding a jean jacket and replacing sandals with ankle boots.

A couple weeks ago I mentioned floral print heels were on my spring wish list, and as you can see by today’s outfit, I was able to mark those off:)
I love these because they have so many colors in them and will go with so much! Plus, they really brighten up today’s black and white outfit.
I just have to mention how fond I am of this blouse. I mean what’s not to like? Polka dots, flowers, and lace all rolled into one easy piece!
Check out some similar options below. Have a great Monday!

Alas, another Monday is upon us, but I do hope you enjoyed the beautiful Easter weekend. I always look forward to bringing out my Sunday best for Easter celebration. Most years I shop for a new dress, but since we started attending a new church when we moved, I decided to wear the same dress as last year (first seen here, and then again here).
The blue and nude color combination and the beautiful lace overlay make this one of my absolute favorite dresses, so I certainly had no problem wearing it again. Adding the floral blazer and statement necklace were new ideas that made me feel like I was wearing it for the first time!
If you looked back at my past styles, which one is your favorite?

I wore this a couple weeks ago for casual Friday at work. Even though I get to wear jeans to work sometimes, I still enjoy dressing them up a little, and there’s no easier way than a blazer, a dressy top, and heels.
I love the lace and chiffon layers of this top. I added a little sparkle with my necklaces, but the delicate detailing is accessory enough if one wanted to keep that the main focus. Actually, my longer necklace kept getting caught in the lace; I think that’s why the shirt is bunched up at the bottom in the photos. It’s a wonder I made it through the day without tearing it!
I’ve also worn this top with darker jeans (which I think I like better) and flats (leopard print, natch). Too bad today is Monday and not casual Friday so I could wear it all over again…

I debuted this lace dress here after I wore it on Easter Sunday. As I noted in aforementioned post, a lace dress is a perfect piece to have in your closet and worth spending a little extra on as it can be worn for so many special occasions: holidays, graduations, weddings, etc.
I can officially check graduation off my list, and while the beige belt and wedges were lovely accessories the first time around, this time I decided to give the dress a little more personality with leopard print and a pop of pink.
I’m even already thinking ahead to next time, and I’d love to try it with a red belt and heels. There’s only one problem…I have neither of those items, so if you see any good deals or have anything I could borrow, let me know;)
How would you accessorize to make the dress more “you”?
If it’s a different color you’re interested in, I’ve found some beautiful options from black to white and everything in between. Click through and tell me which is your favorite. I’m loving the kelly green!

In this post, I jokingly said I had a lace dress I was saving to wear to the next royal wedding;) I decided my invitation was taking too long, so I wore it for an even bigger celebration, Easter Sunday!
Not only is this a beautiful church dress, but I could also see myself wearing it to the Kentucky Derby with a wide-brimmed hat…Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it this year (actually, I’ve never been) because I will be in Jamaica(!), but it will also be perfect for graduations and weddings.
This dress is one of those classic pieces that, if well taken care of, can be worn again and again for years to come, and it’s lovely lace overlay and oh-so-ladylike belt means you can keep the accessories to a minimum. Here are some great options I found (all under $50) ranging from classic black and nude to vibrant green. Would you invest in any of these lace dresses for your summer celebrations?

These are my very favorite pants. I got them last fall and did wear them some during the winter a few times with sweaters and boots, but now that the season has changed, I’m having so much fun dressing them up for spring.
The lace top has been at the top of my list to pair with them, and when I got my spring/summer clothes out of storage and came across this floral blazer, a light bulb clicked!
Floral prints always pop back up for spring. From dainty prints or a casual printed shoe to bright and bold sundresses or pants, it’s easy to find florals that fit your personal style. Would you try any of these?
